Kevan is the main point of contact for many of our clients, expertly advising on their acquisitions and developments and acting as mediator and expert witness to resolve disputes on complex property projects.
Kevan is a chartered surveyor, with over 50 years of experience in the property market as an entrepreneur, mediator, and mentor. He is a registered mediator with the Civil Mediation Council, was shortlisted for the Commercial Mediator of the Year in 2021 and 2022 by the National Mediator Awards, and co-founded Northern Dispute Resolutions Limited where he applies his skills to resolve disputes, deliver community consultation and train post-graduate law students. Kevan has advised in the acquisition, planning, development and sale of many major regeneration schemes across the UK and is also a co-founder and chairperson of the North East Institute of Business Ethics.
Jennifer is co-founder of JK and heads up the operational side of the business, also supporting our client teams with research, strategy, risk management and business development.
Jennifer has over 20 years of national and international experience within the built environment working for RICS. She worked as Director for North & Midlands before heading to West Africa to set up a RICS presence in the region. Moving onto Asia Pacific as a trouble-shooter to improve operations, she later returned to Africa as the Director for SubSaharan Africa where she led on the adoption of international standards and business ethics across the region. As an experienced training and event management professional, Jennifer has also co-founded a training company offering CPD, and she regularly delivers coaching and mentoring for young professionals in the sector.
